By accessing or using Wax Debt, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
What Wax Debt Does
Wax Debt helps collectors organize sports cards and trading cards, scan images, estimate value from available market data, build lots, draft listing copy, and track potential recovery from collection activity.
No Guaranteed Prices or Sales
Values, comps, AI scan results, lot suggestions, and listing copy are estimates or productivity aids. Wax Debt does not guarantee accuracy, resale value, buyer interest, platform approval, or profit. Users should verify card details, condition, market prices, and listing terms before selling.
Your Account and Data
You are responsible for keeping your sign-in method secure and for the information you add to Wax Debt. You represent that you have the right to upload card images, collection data, sale notes, and related files.
Acceptable Use
Do not use Wax Debt to upload unlawful content, infringe someone else's rights, misrepresent card condition or authenticity, interfere with the service, scrape or abuse APIs, or bypass usage limits.
Third-Party Services
Wax Debt may connect with third-party providers such as authentication services, Azure services, eBay APIs, pricing sources, and AI providers. Those services are governed by their own terms, availability, limits, and policies.
User Content
You keep ownership of your collection data and images. You grant Wax Debt permission to process, store, display, analyze, and transmit that content as needed to provide the service, including scan analysis, comp lookup, exports, backups, and listing generation.
Subscriptions and Payments
If paid plans are offered, subscription terms, billing frequency, cancellation rules, taxes, and refunds will be shown at checkout or in account settings. Feature limits may vary by plan.
Service Changes
Wax Debt may change, suspend, or discontinue features, pricing, integrations, limits, or access where needed to operate or improve the service.
Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability
The service is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by law, Wax Debt disclaims implied warranties and is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost sales, inaccurate listings, or market changes.

Privacy Policy
Effective May 20, 2026. This policy describes the information Wax Debt is designed to collect and use.
Information We Collect
Wax Debt may collect account identifiers from your login provider, collection records you enter or import, card images, scan results, OCR/AI metadata, comp lookup data, lot records, sale details, wax spend, app settings, and support messages.
Images and Scan Data
When you scan cards, images may be uploaded to cloud storage and processed by OCR, AI, and comp-related services. Front and back card images may be saved to your card record for inventory, listing, and review workflows.
How We Use Information
We use information to provide inventory tools, scan cards, match metadata, estimate values, cache comp results, build suggested lots, generate listing copy, sync your account data, troubleshoot issues, secure the service, and improve product quality.
Comp Cache and Shared Market Data
Wax Debt may cache card comp results by card attributes such as year, brand, set, card number, player or card name, team, parallel, finish, rarity, and type. Cached comp data may be reused for similar cards to reduce API usage and improve response times. Your private notes, order details, and personal account data are not intended to be shared as public comp records.
Third-Party Providers
We may use cloud hosting, authentication, storage, AI/OCR, payment, analytics, and marketplace API providers. Information sent to those providers is used to operate the related feature and is subject to their policies.
Cookies and Authentication
Wax Debt may use authentication cookies or tokens from the hosting and login provider to keep you signed in, protect management features, and associate your data with your account.
Data Retention
We keep account and collection data while your account is active or as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, and maintain backups. You may export your collection from Settings.
Your Choices
You can edit or delete cards and lots in the app, export your collection, avoid uploading optional images, and request account or data deletion by contacting support.
Security
Wax Debt is designed to use authenticated access, private storage paths, backend-mediated API calls, and environment-managed secrets. No online service can guarantee perfect security, so avoid storing unnecessary sensitive information in notes or image fields.
Children
Wax Debt is not intended for children under 13. Do not use the service if you are not old enough to consent to these terms in your location.

Scan limits protect the OCR and marketplace API budget while Wax Debt is in alpha. Admin users are unlimited for testing.
